Nominations for the Winner of the Millennium Technology Prize 2010 have started
The Technology Academy Foundation is looking for nominees for the biggest technology award in the world. The award will be given for a technical innovation that improves the quality of life. Nomination will be accepted until 1 October 2009.

The Selection Committee for the World's biggest technology prize has been appointed
The Board of the Technology Academy Foundation has appointed four new members to the eight-strong International Selection Committee. The Millennium Technology Prize, worth over one million euro, is awarded at two-year intervals to a technological innovation that significantly enhances quality of life and supports sustainable development.

D.Sc. (Tech), MBA Ainomaija Haarla has been appointed President and CEO of the Technology Academy Foundation (Finland). Reporting to both the Executive Committee and the Board of the Technology Academy Foundation, she will take up her appointment on February 16th 2009.
